Adult classes: Ages 13 & Up and Youth classes: Ages 5 to 13 (Jr. Koa Classes: Age 4 years old only)
Boxing
A combat sport utilizing both fists with striking only allowed above the waist. Boxing classes at Koa heavily focus on cardio, timing, coordination, hand speed, head movement, and footwork. Our classes are friendly for all skill levels.
Muay Thai & Muay Thai Tactics
Authentic Muay Thai is taught in a fun and accessible way. Each class is a 1-hour group class consisting of warm-ups, technique of the day, partner drills on heavy bags and Thai pads, fundamentals, tactics, and conditioning. If you are brand new to the art, we also offer semi-private Intro to Striking classes.
For more advanced members, we offer Muay Thai Sparring and Clinching classes. These advanced classes require coach approval, a sparring waiver, and additional gear.
Muay Thai Tactic classes focus on the science of movement for each strike. By reinforcing the building blocks of striking and other tactical drills, we help you improve your strikes to get the most out of each technique. These are excellent classes that help you gain confidence in your striking abilities and power.
Strength & Conditioning
These classes are designed to increase your cardio, muscular strength and endurance, muscular power, agility, and overall performance. A must for anyone serious about getting into shape and sharpening their athletic skills and abilities. Class activities include cardio, weight-lifting, and mobility exercises.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ)
Learn the fundamentals techniques of wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and mixed martial arts in a safe, supportive environment. Whether your goal is enhancing your current self-defense workouts, competition, or just getting in incredible shape, this class combines technique, conditioning, and strategy to help you grow stronger, faster, and more confident on your feet and on the mat.
