What is Hula?
The traditional Polynesian dance dates back to as early as 1800’s and combines style & grace with footwork, full body control, hand gestures, and hip movements. Originating from the Hawaiian Islands, this graceful dance is also accompanied by chants and songs.
Students will not only learn about the basics of Hula, but also the culture and history of the beautiful Hawaiian Islands.
Although Hula is already a fantastic workout focusing on the isolation of different muscle groups, Hula Fitness combines the art of Hula with fun aerobic movements that will get your heart rate going.
